01South Jetty (Port Aransas)

Granite jetty on the south side of the Aransas Pass ship channel. Walk-on access from the end of Cotter Avenue. Deep water along the rocks; strong currents on tide changes. Open in Google Maps

02North Jetty (St. Joseph Island)

North side of the Aransas Pass channel on St. Jo Island. Only reachable by boat (Jetty Boat from Fisherman's Wharf is the easiest option). No facilities once you're there. Open in Google Maps

03Horace Caldwell Pier

Lit, 24-hour Gulf-side pier off I.B. Magee Beach Park. Day-fee per rod; bait and tackle on-site. Good walk-on option for visitors without a boat. Open in Google Maps

04Roberts Point Park

Free public park on the ferry-landing side with a lit fishing pier overlooking the ship channel. Easy parking, restrooms, kid-friendly. Open in Google Maps

05Lydia Ann Channel

Deep cut between Harbor Island and St. Joseph Island. Boat-only. Holds bait and structure along the spoil islands; heavy ship-channel traffic — stay clear of the lane. Open in Google Maps

06Lighthouse Lakes

Shallow back-bay maze east of Aransas Pass with marked paddling trails. Kayak and wade-fishing water; the launch is at the Highway 361 paddling trail trailhead. Open in Google Maps

07Mustang Island Beach (PINS-side surf)

Gulf-side surf along the beach driving access south of Access Road 1A. Drive-on with a county beach permit; standard surf-rod gear and bait. Open in Google Maps

08Shamrock Island / Shamrock Cove

Protected cove on the bay side of Mustang Island. Boat-only — note that Shamrock Island itself is a protected bird sanctuary; fish from the water, not the shore. Open in Google Maps

09Brown & Root Flats

Shallow back-bay flats behind the Mustang Island spoil banks. Boat-access wade water — get out and walk it on a calm morning. Open in Google Maps

10Mud Island

Spoil island chain north of Lydia Ann Channel in Aransas Bay. Boat-only. Wade the sand and grass shorelines on the lee side when the wind is up. Open in Google Maps

11Wilson's Cut

Cut on the bay side of Mustang Island near Packery Channel. Boat or wade access. Moving water on tide changes. Open in Google Maps

12Packery Channel Jetties

Twin jetties at Packery Channel (south end of Mustang Island, ~25 min drive). Walk-on access; popular with surf-side and channel-side anglers alike. Open in Google Maps
